Combination of omega-3 and vitamin D may benefit PCOS patient

Combined supplementation of vitamin D and omega-3 can benefit women suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), say researchers in Iran.  It is believed that the combined supplements have an anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effect, but further investigation is needed to confirm.

Low vitamin D may be linked to fertility and miscarriage risk – especially after prior pregnancy loss

Women with sufficient levels of vitamin D may be more likely to become pregnant and have a live birth, compared to women with insufficient levels of the vitamin, say researchers.
