Monitoring eating mindfully

 

It is now known that we eat more when distracted and also get tempted to eat before the next meal after we have had a distracted meal occasion.  So to eat more mindfully turn the TV off, move away from your desk and computer and phone, and don’t read while eating.  Just think about every mouthful you eat and chew your food thoroughly.  Alow yourself at least 15 minutes to eat your meal.

Every time you ate a meal mindfully, put a tick in the box-soon it will become second nature to eat like this.  And you will enjoy your food more plus lose weight!

Print out this table for each week and track you mindfulness for about 6 weeks until it becomes a habit
